Privacy policy

AllPlay is a mobile app for recording how much time children spend on the pitch and on the bench. This policy explains what it stores, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be got past.
Who we are
AllPlay is the data controller for the information described here. Contact us at hello@allplay.uk.
What is stored
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To create your account and sign you in |
| Player names you type in | To label the times and goals you record |
| Match, tournament and training records — dates, opponents, scores, minutes on and off the pitch, goals, attendance | This is the app's purpose: to report pitch time back to you |
| Subscription status | To unlock paid features. Card details are handled by Apple or Google and are never seen by us |
There is no advertising in AllPlay, no tracking for advertising, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone for marketing.
Children's information
The records are about children, and they are typed in by an adult — a parent or a coach. Only a first name is needed. We ask you not to enter surnames, dates of birth, addresses, photographs or anything else identifying, because none of it is needed to time a game.
If you are recording other people's children as a coach, you should have the agreement of their parents, and your club may have its own policy on that.
Where it is kept
Records are stored on your phone first, so the app works with no signal at a ground. When you have a connection they are backed up to our database, hosted by Supabase in the EU, so a lost phone does not mean a lost season. Backups can be limited to Wi-Fi in the app's settings.
Who else is involved
- Supabase — hosts the database and handles sign-in
- RevenueCat — records whether a subscription is active
- Apple and Google — take payment and handle the subscription itself
Each of these only receives what it needs to do its part.
How long it is kept
For as long as you have an account. Delete your account and everything goes with it — the players, the matches, the training records and the sign-in itself. That is immediate and cannot be undone, which is why the app asks twice.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Two of these are built into the app rather than being a request you have to make:
- Export my data in Settings gives you everything as one file
- Delete my account in Settings removes all of it, everywhere
For anything else, email hello@allplay.uk. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything significant will be flagged in the app.
